I opted for vbulletin after trying the trial version but have been unable to install the vbulletin 5 software.  My hosts support team were not able to make it work either and then vbulletin support were also unable. <br />
<br />
<i>Amazingly </i>they said in their email that they had seen this problem before! I got the impression that it was quite common.  Yet they will not issue a refund!<br />

Potential users should be aware that this situation can occur....<br />

As the progression of the thread went on, Zachery gave the reason for the lack of mods for vb5<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[We recently moved from a single server to two server set up with replication. Since then we&#039;ve been running into a very odd issue in vB. Sometimes when you click on a link, it&#039;ll take you to an entirely different link... but only in Firefox. That&#039;s the only major browser, anyway. I think someone said it happened in an old AOL browser too. Obviously, this is a problem because the forums are virtually unusable in a major browser.<br />
