XenSSO at it's core allows your users to sign up once, then sign in across all your sites with that one login. It uses OpenID under the hood and some custom tailoring for additional features not covered by OpenID.

    Features
    • Single Sign On, of course
    • Automatic authentication when you visit a sister site
    • Username / Email validation checks your SSO database
    • Synchronisation Tool
    • Works entirely in the background (ie. doesn't require a manual to use).
Statistics and synchronisation of profile fields is planned.

    Demo

Anthony Parsons has been kind enough to set up some demo sites that you can test the XenSSO addon on, for details and information check his post.

That's worth it once I Get everything converted to XF. I think I've got one more license to buy.

Does everything have to be running on the same server?

Schweet you can merge my two accounts (Big Dan {on GF} & Dan Hutter) into Dan Hutter if you wanna use me as a test case.

Actually that isn't an option just yet.
Naatan did push out a new update today to fix an issue we're having on our server.
Those who have an account on both will be able to login as usual, in the future he's going to add an option to merge those accounts.

This should be installed correctly between Admin-Talk.com and General-Forums.com

I've just managed to login okay at General-Forums.com - and I've never signed-up there so it seems to be working okay.

I'm looking at this for my own sites, especially as I plan to add two more this year and several next year - having a common login for all sites will be excellent. :D

    Thanks for checking @Clickfinity :)

I think you'll like it and for only $60.. it seems like a no brainer for me

it's something I've always wanted with my forums but to have it made for vBulletin was going to be a couple GRAND and I just couldn't swing that
