    Should the AdSense box be grayed out, unlike other fields to enter data having a white background. Plus, I was going to test something and cannot paste in it.

    That's by design as far as I can tell. I was able to click the adsense code: box and paste in my code.

    Maybe it stopped me pasting some IMG banner code then. I wasn't trying to paste in adsense code (closed my account last night). I was trying to paste this.

    Code:
    <a href="http://www.namecheap.com/?aff=7136"><img src="{T_THEME_PATH}/images/namecheap_vps_hosting.gif" style="background-color: #FFFFFF; border: 1px solid #666666; margin-top: 17px; padding: 2px;" width="728" height="90" alt="NameCheap VPS Hosting" title="NameCheap VPS Hosting" /></a>
    Was testing to see it would let me do it.

    I guess it has a check to make sure it's an adsense banner then ;)

    It's not letting me paste in the box. I have some forum backups with my old adsense code still listed in a template. Just copied it and changed size to match allowed in code for banner and cannot paste anything in that box, not with FireFox.

    Don't think it has anything to do with the code now, I simply cannot paste in it, not even adense banner code using 468x60.

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript"><!--
    google_ad_client = "ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxx";
    /* Post Banner */
    google_ad_slot = "xxxxxxxxxx";
    google_ad_width = 468;
    google_ad_height = 60;
    //-->
    </script>
    <script type="text/javascript"
    src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
    </script>
    Hard to see it checking the code, as some people use custom channels like I do, and that channel name gets included in code. So not all adsense code for that size banner is going to be identical, unless it just checks for something like one line saying "google_ad_client" e.t.c.

    Or two lines in code saying:
    google_ad_width = 468;
    google_ad_height = 60;

    My channel added:

    Code:
    /* Post Banner */

    Ah ok, it's a permissions trigger stopping you.
    It shouldn't be grayed out if you're able to add the code.
    Will check it out after dinner and see what's going on.

    Thanks for the feedback

    I'm trying it now. So far it's not made a great deal of money, but hopefully I'll earn at least something out of my articles and topics here.

    Thanks for testing things out, I see your ads are showing so I assume it's working.
    A little bit more testing and we'll make an official announcement.

    Thanks again @CM30 for the continued support. :thumbsup:

    This sounds interesting, but I am having a hard time grasping how it would really benefit the community and how it could pay fairly for the content created and according to how good or bad it is. Does the system account for quality or is it just based on quantity?

    And I'll excuse myself right now too, because I haven't taken the time to read all posts yet. If the answers are in the posts above, just please let me know politely and I'll go back through the whole thread later.;) No time now sorry.....
