    Windows 7 Advice

What do you think i should do?

My system is basicly totally bogged down, everythings messing and all sorts are going slow, So should i reformat now? Or wait until Windows 7 is released and buy the Upgrade Package, from what ive read id have to Reformat (wipe everything) install vista and THEN run the upgrade to Win7.

    My System Info:

    Name: Dell Vostro 1700 (laptop)

    Core 2 Duo 1.8ghz

    4.0GB RAM

    256MB nVidia 8600M GT

My external devices include, USB HDD, Gaming Headset, Gaming Mouse, Gaming Keyboard. (was about to say gaming mouse pad then lmao)

Macs do not fail. They are better than any PC.

Don't buy a new a PC, I understand. Buy a mac... or downgrade to Windows 98.

Try running ummm CSS (game) on a Mac without bootcamp..owned?

You need BootCamp to do practicly everything because not everything supports OSX..

and i just noticed my post count isnt moving..

Parallels Desktop 4.0 You can be playing CSS in with no problems in seconds. Plus Windows works better on a Mac too.

I meant natively in MAC OS with no Virtual bootcamp or anything..

You can also get a better PC for much much less, Macs are heavily over prices for what they are.

Now lets stick to the main topic...

So any how great job guys you win at life for owning mac's. Lets all just pack it up here and go home now then.

I assume you're on XP, and personally if I were you I'd stay there. You're machine specs aren't bad, but Windows 7 still takes a little bit of CPU and ram to get it going and keep it going.

That would be because the CSS game is not good enough to work on a Mac nativley.

I'd still like to know what a Mac can do in terms of designing that a PC can't

No, Vista Business , Much cheaper and better spec to buy business over the home ones at dell.

Im sorry what? Not Good Enough? The games been out for like 3 years and players are actually PAID to play that game, they have thousands of dollars of competitions, Valve wouldn't support Mac because they know and every game company knows the absolute Gaming population (disc, retail games) resides within a windows based operating system.

Im talking about Gaming because im simply a hard core PC Gamer and PC > Macs when it comes to gaming and alot of other things.

It's the interface, and the 'easyness' of it. I've played with both MAC's and PC and I really want a MAC for my design stuff.

Meh, Wouldn't interfacing be a personal prefrence issue. I personally prefer the windows interface over the mac (and linux :scared: :wtbsshwindowsthough: ) :D.
