What scheduled task updates sig lines?

When someone changes their sig line what scheduled task updates the sig lines in the previously made posts that user has made?


On some forums where I am a member it appears to happen quickly, on my forum it does not happen quickly.

 

I am pretty sure there is no scheduled task. It should be right away. Unless, that is, you didn't used to have a signature and then you added one. In that case, a signature will not be added to your old posts at all.

Based on you input I've experimented and that is how it works when a user changes their sig.


The other information I've received is that it may make a difference if a user is making the changes vs the making changes to someone else's sig through the admin control panel. I've just experimented and it appears those changes take place right way. For some reason I had the impression it takes time for those changes to occur.
