That's what we already do. Posts with personal attacks are removed, and the user is dealt with accordingly.
Yes, that's the best way and this site has this more "right" than far too many others these days. Swearing in itself seem to be ok here - not something I'd do myself, but that's fine - whereas personal attacks - whether with swearing or not - are frowned upon. Seems to be the ideal way to do it.
Dang FMB, what the HELL are you thinking!? Are you that stupid!? FullMetalBabe, you have to be one of the most irrational person, sheesh, c'mon! /end personal personal attack. ps: I held back on saying curse words, I deserves an award.
Good times. What's the AA criteria? I have seen some I felt were out of line, but weren't censored. I'm actually asking more to check my own thinking - not judging at all. I sort of want to make sure I'm not too strict when I moderate my own forums. Thanks Nick! RR
Feel free to report those posts, as I can't possibly read every post in every thread here. There really isn't any criteria. Anything from: "You're stupid", to "F*** you, you don't know what the f*** you're talking about, you will never succeed, go f*** yourself" is removed and dealt with.
