In your forum administration endeavors, which aspect(s) are you best-suited for? Or are you well-rounded?

Community management. At one point thought I could do software though.

I also excel at using stock software functions (vb) in creative ways.

I'm pretty well rounded, except for the Graphics part, which I'm working at. :)

I probably should have picked Community Management, but I picked well rounded, which I am, except for coding.

Since I've never had anyone else to go in on a site with me, I guess I'd have to choose well rounded.

Certainly not community management. I'm more good with tech support, backend stuff. Although, I haven't done any site coding in forever, I need to get back into that XD.

I'm best at the backend stuff. I'm really not a good dommunity manager at all...I choose the right people to take care of that aspect for me. :)

I handle most of the problems members have, but I do not like problem members (e.g., career trolls who will throw invective at you no matter how respectful you try to be). In any case, I am aware that you gotta have some thick skin to be an administrator, and since I love managing a forum it is something I am more than willing to endure. I can do PR just fine, but I prefer the behind the scenes and "unofficial" work. In regard to behind the scenes, I mean such things as promoting, creating content, and modifying and maintaining the forum software. As for "unofficial," I mean participating as much as you (reasonably) can in discussions.

I would probably include "coding, customizing, and scripting" among the aspects of forum management I'm "best" at if I were still using the phpBB software, as that's the software I used for the overwhelming majority of the time my forum has existed (the years 2004-2008; a few days into 2008, I converted to vBulletin), and so have had plenty of time to become quite knowledgeable with.

As for graphics design, that is certainly the domain of Saint, one of my fellow administrators, a man who recently graduated majoring in a field related to that. He designed the banners for the five templates of the forum when it was run by phpBB, and more recently designed the banners for the two templates for vBulletin.

I do need to start doing actual coding though and not just html/css/js and vbulletin specific code.

The first thing that came to my mind on seeing the thread Title. :D

    Btw, I'm good at programming/coding.
But my graphics and designing skills(!) suck; big time.
