Maybe I missed it, but I dont see a place for people to go off about themselves and who they are and where from and all of that. Those, are usually good to have, other than that I think the forum is pretty nice. I noticed it in your sig over on the other site when you left me some rep :) So, I figured I would come check it out. I like the colors. Most of the time I hate light themes, but this one is not so bad on the eyes.

Maybe we could even make a notice (vBulletin feature) for newly registered users to see, telling them that they should introduce themselves a link to that forum.

I agree with that, we use that on both of our forums when new users register and it works too, we have seen a big increase in introductions since adding it.

Sounds good; I'll get that set up. There are a two I can implement:

    • Never posted; please introduce yourself
    • Haven't posted in a long time; make a few posts (based on time since last post was made)

One for new members that have just joined and have yet to post and one for members that have been inactive. If they join without ever posting and qualify for the inactive one (assuming they come back), they will probably see them both.

No, I can set exclusions so that they only see the appropriate one.
