Hi
I am Galerio and last week I was banned because of spam... but everything I did was to answer in this section to Brandon: he asked me how I came to gf, and I answered that I am the developer of a vbulletin plugin, and in the discussion about my plugin I met Brandon.

I hope to get my old username galerio active again.

not sure why or if you were banned but I do know if users post links in their first 10-20 post, they usually get the attention of the moderators as a spammer.
I'd suggest you check out the FAQ and RULES of the forum.

Just try to look for user "galerio" and you can see it is in banned group.
I've posted just one link to my vbulletin's plugin to answer your question and the ban is definitive
