Vbulletin Forums easily hacked?

@Forever Young I have had no problems with my vBulletin forum being hacked.
You should make your passwords something that is so good that you only know and that is hard for people to crack.
I know it's difficult but you have to learn to think about what it is that makes your forum so easily hacked. If it's your email address, change it and make the password a strong one. Maybe have the same password so that you don't [****][****][****][****] up the whole thing yourself. (it's easy to make mistakes.)

 

oh I have never been hacked before(Knocks on wood)......and i hope it never happens but i do agree i need stronger passwords.

I've had my FB hacked because my passwword was my phone number lol.

 

What you need to do is use something that you know that isn't all numbers or all letters. Even add another character like a fullstop in there so that you don't get hacked.

 

Yer even something like a symbol. * % # or something like that. I do that now, as I was hacked and learnt from it when I was a lot younger.

 

The sorts of things you could do is give an address of something that you know of that might be your favourite place but add the symbols to make it difficult for others but simple for yourself.

 

I have a super long password now that is mixed and i have it written down so i wont forget it

 

Just be aware of people DDOSing the vBulletin forums and if you have your own keep an eye on what some people might try and do.
