vBulletin 4.1.0 PL2 Released

    I don't think vBulletin will ever close. They used to have no competitors now they have IPB and XenForo, so they will start working hard on their software to try to beat the other softwares.

    Erm what can they improve without re starting the software again and clear its rep lol

    I agree a complete re write is what they could use, thats what keir and mike wanted do when they were with vbulletin, but now they are xenForo <3

    Not really, they have a stable software. They just need to add unique features and start giving real support again. It will attract new costumers.

    From the 3.x.x versions (never used a 4.x.x version) I used the software seemed to be pretty stable and useful, but comparing to IPB and Xenforo it's crap.

    3.8.x has always been stable because the Developers Mike and Keir were involved. 4.x.x are so unstable its un believable

    I agree vb 3 was good just vb4 is where they lost it.

    I believe they would sell, or make it free for others to download and become popular back in 2002 it was free :), uncle told me.

    This is just an opinion mind you but I believe Vb is going to price themselves right out of business in the long run. I believe a free version would be possible but its all about the money mind you and I am sure that software development is not cheap. I have never had the money to buy it. I do own a UBB license but I hardly ever use it and have owned a WoWbb license but sold it.
