I had it once and the only reason I bought it was for the pretty and user friendly url rewrite.

Didn't think vBSeo was worth the money so will never buy it again.

Well I went ahead and bought a vbseo license for one of my forums. I actually have 2 forums that compete against eachother. On 3 specific keywords I rank first in google for one forum. I installed vbseo on the other forum that competes against it. In time, I will see how the other forum ranks and judge if vbseo is worth it or not. The lower ranked forum has been online for a few days now but is bigger in number of threads and posts because I moved sites and domain names. No 301 redirect so it's going to be a freshly indexed site. If that forum moves into number 1 spot for those keywords, then I will be able to honestly say that vbseo is very much worth the price.

Yes, CBB that is indeed an interesting experiment. I'd be very interested to see how it turns out.

John, vBSEO is quite expensive, but you can find good deals just about anywhere. I got mine for $80 and it was freshly renewed immediately prior to my purchase. So it's practically brand new. :)
Just look in the classifieds and 'for sale' sections on vB-related websites.

Yes but I still don't really think its worth $80 either. But that is what I think.

If I were doing such an experiment, I'd write up an article about it, and possibly gain a little money/exposure with it. So it wouldn't be a total loss.

The regular price for vBSEO is indeed pretty steep, but you can often find a second-hand license from some reputable people for a great deal. I bought mine from somebody for $80 and he even renewed it right before transferring, so I practically got a brand new license for almost half of the regular price. :)

This is exactly what I did. I haven't seeing much for the work put in to the site. So I ordered VBSEO. It's barely been a day so I'm still checking it out.

I have more then one license and any vb forums I start I would buy a vbseo license to go right along with it.

It's not just pretty url's there is much more under the hood. I think it is worth every penny they charge.

It's no-doubt worth it; it is a great product. But why pay the full price when you can get it much cheaper?

You will be very happy with it. Plus their support forums are packed with great info. They go far beyond what they have to. They live, sleep and breath seo ;)
