    Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to decide whether I should have username colours for each usergroup or not. I personally don't think they are needed, but what do you think?

Let me know why your think what you think.

I like them and have always set up colors for the groups.
I know when I'm a member of a forum and I can see my username is not the same as the brand new user, it makes me feel good. :)

I have colors for certain user groups. Like coders, artists, and supporters. Also certain colors for staff. Admins are red, and the others are different. I like using colors because it shows users who's who on the community.

I use username colours for all groups, and it works fairly well.

Just be careful what colours you use, some people might not like have a pink, glow in the dark or rainbow coloured username.

I normally have colours for select groups, admins & mods mainly, normal members left at default.

I always set up colors for various groups, too. It's not so much because I need a color for regular users, but rather, I like having mods and admins stand out a bit more. If the color is different, people tend to take notice. I like when staff are recognized and given a bit of authority. People seem to notice the color difference more than they do the title being listed.

I like only having username colors for the staff groups, that way it's easy for members and management to identify the staff members of the forum.

I like having them, it makes it easier for everyone to see who's in the staff and who isn't. And, also, as an admin, I get to brag about having a colored username.
