User Ranking Levels

Greetings, slime.

In addition to updating the user titles (your name according to posts, unless you elect to use your own in your profiles) I have also added little stars in your posts so you can monitor your progression in a different way...

We're planning on changing the icons to little space-related/Galaga insignias at a later date... In fact, if anyone is bored and willing to help me (and decent with graphics) I can give you the icons and show you how it needs to be layed out to save me some time... For example, level 3 "Peon" class is 1 blue star and 1 gray star which are ONE .gif image. Each level must be one image. I have 5 galaga icons that could be used for this which would better match our site... Anyone bored, and interested in a free t-shirt?

I've got no experience. Is this something that is easily learned and done, just takes lots of time?

agreed! i love the little ranking flags... shouldn't mods have like 5 stars or something utterly beyond coolness? i think they should

 

Frankly, I LOVE the Galaga flags. Brings me back.
Of course, in real life, I was lucky if I could get 7 or 8 flags, but that's a different story.

 

I'll be setting mods and admins up with something as well, however the remaining two Galaga level flags I have aren't all that great in the graphic department. Won't really stand out so I may end up using some other kinda medal.. We'll see...
