Thoughts on this mod to help boost Alexa rank

I've never really put much effort into building Alexa rank, but I just saw this mod and wanted to see what everyone else thought.

This helps you rewarding alexa toolbar users, by adding them to a secondary usergroup with extra privileges.

 

I used to have it. But do not anymore. I used to have the widget on my sites that I used to have, untill they were hacked and im not smart enough to deal with that stuff. I had a graphics site and an file up load site.

 

I could add a badge back on the site, but I never have cared for those.

 

ya ya, I know a lot of ppl say Alexa is spyware, but I've never ran into any problems with it and I've had it on my toolbar for years.
