Has anyone tried to sell their work there? I'm in the process of creating a piece exclusively for them and I was curious as to who has tried to sell there.

If you don't make graphics, have you bought from Themeforest? What do you normally look for?

Ive brought from themeforest numerous things with the $20 i deposited..

    The things i brought where:

    Maintenance Page
    Full website template
    Bubble Buttons
Buttons (other buttons, like a pack with various things)

The template design is at jethq.net and is extremely good for $10..

You may also know that YOU don't price your work, THEY price it for you.

I've bought and sold from themeforest before. Its not a bad system.

Some things are veryyy popular and flooded though. Things like Portfolio websites (ironically) and business cards (at graphicriver, but same thing)

I know this, since it's a PSD I don't expect it to be more than $8.

The design I'm planning to make is as modern bloglike PSD theme, blue and red.

Rocket442, I have a doubt which I couldn't find an answer for: I could use stock images, no? If so, do you know where to find some?

They almost always do not allow any stock images (even royalty-free) unless you have commercial distribution licence (lotsa $$$$ usually).

However, you can sell items with stock images on talkfreelance.com. :P

Can I get a sneak peak at what you're making via PM? :P

I'm trying to sketch a blog design myself. A wedding themed one.

Hmm? Most of the members there have poor vocabulary.

It's just easier for me to get rid of things that use stock photography I bought. TF doesn't allow it because not only will you get in trouble, but them as well. Essentially you're selling the same item over and over again, get it?

Make sure to tick the hidden box where you can allow extended licenses to be purchased. Makes most items increase 20-40 dollars. You'll want to read up the differences in licensing.
