I wanted to put together a list of some of the changes we’ve gone through in the last 4 months of this year. (This will also be covered in our first newsletter which you can subscribe for in our sidebar) We changed our name to Admin Talk We’ve upgraded all our xenForo scripts We’ve added a portal as a home page We’ve updated & expanded our link directory We’ve added a media center for video tutorials We’ve merged 3 smaller admin forums We’ve added plugins to help interaction across all platforms We’ve added 2,000 backlinks so far Sig links visible to guest We've Sponsored our 1st WP style. We've started adding content to the Admin Talk Blog. removed Here are some items that we have to look forward to in the near future. Send out our first newsletter since I purchased the site. Custom branded photoshop tutorials. (These have been paid for, waiting on delivery) Expanding our interview section, I have several lines up, just need to write out the questions. Skin for the forums, either the paid one we had before or a custom one like we have now. We will be getting a new logo, this is after we set the style. (I will hold a paid contest for this over at DP) After the logo, we will be getting a nice style for the link directory. Custom tools that forum admins would find useful Possibly a blog subdomain that will be integrated with the userbase of the forum. Release a few styles, defiantly wordpress styles, hopefully some forum styles as well. Backlinks backlinks backlinks! Lots of backlinks, all over. A forum contest soon for real $$$$! I have a few more ideas but want to make sure I word them correctly so not to give away too much to our competitors who are most likely watching this forum. I’d like to always have a roadmap of the forum progress; I think it’ll make the site more enjoyable as a user if you know there will always be new stuff going on at Admin Talk. We’ll likely update this thread until the end of the year or just slightly after, and then we’ll make an updated version.
