Alright so im pretty sure i know the answer to this but lately ive been asked by a few people and they think im wrong figured i would ask here.

Is it illegal to install a demo board on a localhost server for example, install it on my xampp install on my computer?

    Thanks,
    Randy

No. You're allowed to have one production board and one test install providing registrations are closed on the test board.

You can have a test installation on your localhost (which obviously won't be accessible by the public) or on your server in a directory called testvb or vbtest. This test directory must be protected with .htaccess and cannot be accessible by the public.

Wow even I didn't know this - lol I have been too scared to do it incase my sites got closed down.

With the Test Boards are we able to give access to view to fellow admins so they can share their thoughts and ideas on something? Or is that a no-no?

Merk, I am fairly certain you can do that as long as the directory remains password protected. I have done it myself and haven't run into any problems.

I'm pretty sure you will get a warning just like any other time, before you'd get closed down. ;)

This allowance is specifically stated in the License Agreement. :)
