So I have recently tried switching a active vb4 forum from go-daddy to siteground. By active I mean maybe 150 members online at any time... about 10,000 unique a day.

So siteground made the move, all was well for a day or so. But then I woke up, site was not loading properly (investigation showed they were blocking the stylesheet from loading).
They claim excessive cpu usage, and blamed cometchat for it.
So I disabled cometchat, and next thing I know, they are blocking the entire site with a .htaccess saying the cpu is still excessive.
So I ask them, what is eating all the resources?
They say "forumdisplay.php and css file. They also says "get someone to optimize it".
I ask them, aren't you claiming you are optimized for vbulletin? Cause that is what we run.
So they said, "Move to a dedicated server"...

Keep in mind that this site ran on godaddy for over two years with no issues...

    I hate siteground.

Sorry to hear, I'd seriously look for another host if they "blocked" your site.
I know I would the second I had that happen.
Hope you can get a refund.

    Cheap Hosting is just that...cheap.

There is a reason these folks can sell hosting for 3.95 mo. They don't do anything!
