Should Under 18's be allowed on GF?

Currently the whole site is 18 and over, I may open up a section in the future for those under 18 but no plans atm.

 

Well, I guess you really can't protect them if they lie about their age. The forums certainly can't go and require everyone to send in their IDs. But I think that if you have that representation that they signified that they are under 18, you cannot be held liable for displaying mature content to them.

Only if they lie, which is basically what is in state.

I don't mind people under 18 as long as they act appropriate. By saying that we only support 18+, we are actually not supporting people who act inappropriate.

If someone were 16 or 17 and joined and lied, but acted of age, I don't think anyone would bother them.

 

i think that restriction is not the right desicion, and as for me i didnt find any thread that cant be read by a person under 18 on GF)
so see no reasons for this spep)
