RIP Boofo, you'll dearly be missed

I just saw this posted on vBulletin.com that Rob (Boofo) has passed away.

He was a good guy and a good programer, he will be missed in the vBulletin world.

What a sad day. Boofo was an awesome coder, I learned some of my coding from him and indeed will miss him around vb.org

 

I've heard the name a few times but never had any contact with him. Yet, it's always sad to see someone leave us. RIP Boofo.

 

I used his mods before on my sites, he had some great stuff made!

Just saw this on vBulletin.org. RIP Boofo. You seemed like a nice person over on vBulletin.org and while I don't remember using your mods they were still useful to other people. Hope he's in a better place now.

 

Very sad news. From his posts he was a very nice person, and had really great mods too!

 

It has recently come to our attention that Rob Hindal ("Boofo" on the forums and on vB.org), a long time vBulletin member and mod developer has recently passed away.

I have to say, I'm rather impressed vBulletin themselves saw it right to pay tribute to Boofo's untimely death on their official forums. That shows a level of customer dedication and support for the community that makes me respect them a whole lot more. Shows that they're in touch with the community and actually care about the well being of their members.

 

Sorry to hear about that. Did see his name being bandied about earlier before he was ill. Sad to hear he's passed away.
