What do you do on your forums for members when they use their referral link or someone has them as the referrer when they sign up?

Now and then we will give the person who has recruited the most a free 1 months Super Membership for their good work recruiting :D

We would offer more but it is hard unless we made it a contest.

We have when they go into their user cp there is a link to give out, for example mine is:

    JetGaming - Official Forums

and so on, getting referrers earns you alot of points via experience and we are currently holding a comp with that mod, x amount of points wins.

I've always tried to think of some way to reward members who refer others. I never have come up with anything good, so any suggestions are definitely welcome.

I'd love to hear some of your guys' incentives and rewards. :)

Public thanks in the celebrations forum. Maybe I'll start givnig them bucks to blow in the gameroom too. I've gotten back into giving away t-shirts and stuff for major milestones too. I'm not a fan of generic "who can make the most new threads this month" anymore. Mostly they seem to be a waste of resources and encourage to start copy/pasting new threads (creating duplicate content from other sties) instead of having regular discussions.
