    Hi guys,
Want to start with saying "forum that I am selling now is my life". I have worked REALLY REALLY hard on it for over a period of time. But as most of us know, life is a bit**. Not getting enough time to maintain it. I do not want to leave it to die. Basically, its a forum about hacking prevention, security research, programming, white papers. Has a great potential.

    1. PR2 forum.
    2. Forum has excellent & really intelligent tutorials / articles etc.
    3. Loyal, regular & intelligent users.
    4. Already top ranked in google with many keywords.
    5. Has gained a reputation in other communities with same subject.
    6. Runs on vbulletin and lifetime 4.x license is included.

Put adsense 2 days ago and its making $2 on an average a day. I can say it gets 200 unique visitors a day.

We were about to release our own Security Distro this year, but since I do not have time, I have dropped that plan as if now. I need to sell it to raise some funds for my other project.

More information would be given on further request. Spammers please stay away, I would not want to handover my favorite forum to lazy people.

    Thanks.

I want to know what the URL is and how much you want...
I hope you are not referring to nishantsays.com/

From a quick look, you used to have your forum on mybb1.4 and then went to vb4 last month. Same forum or an barking up the wrong tree?

EDIT: Nvrm, I found your forum... sec....net

I dunno about that forum, there isn't a lot of content. It all depends on the price. Something like 700 threads 3000 posts, and like 300 members. Please PM me with your price.

That being said, nice new style...

    thanks.
Secworm is something where we do not emphasis on post counts. Unlike other forums with threads "lets count till 5000" etc. I could have got 10k posts by now, but chose not to ... to keep the standards.

BIN price is $500 INCLUDING the lifetime vb license.

    Thanks.

    ok..
    what is this thread then?

I'm afraid $500 is out of my ballpark. I don't need a vb4 license, I already have one.

I did not check the date, sorry about that. You are right.
I'm surprised you are willing to let go of a (almost) brand new $250+ license for $100. I thought without the license it would be lower - somewhere about $250 - which is still too much in my opinion for a smaller forum such as yours. Maybe someone else can afford that.

    Sure no problem.

As I said, if you are professional or somewhere related to IT security, you'd understand its value. I was offered $900 a month back by an INFO SEC company which is in US. But i didnt want to sell it then.

The reason why I was so interested in it was because I work as a PC Tech Support person. I am currently getting my Cisco certification, and I would love to own a site like that. But I don't have the money you want for it - maybe in a couple of months I would.

I would be interested in the site, can you post the URL.
I think I've looked it up before, but not real sure.
I'm not interested in the vb license though. :(

    URL is secworm[dot]net.
Without VB license it would go for $400.

You want $400 for a forum with only 3000 posts and 300 members?

Is it really that easy to make money online? -.-

This is really the last time I am saying it.

@venom, I have seen your forums, it would take just a week for me to take post ount to 7000, but WE DO NOT PLAY GAMES. That forum is for knowledge and thats what you get.

When you give importance to postcounts, you loose the quality.

I wasn't even relating forum games to the postcount. Besides, what makes you think I'd expect you guys to play "forum games" on a computer security forum anyways?

3000 posts is still extremely small. And you can't say all posts on your forum are of "high" quality, because that would be a lie. $400 for a site with 3000 posts is a complete and utter rip-off, believe me or not.

Try around $75, and I might actually be interested.

Sorry, wouldnt want to give this forum to anyone WHO DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS HE GOING TO DEAL WITH.

Check packetstorm, exploits-db and see what secworm is worth.

So thanks for your offer but no thanks.

lol, i'd rather keep it guys :).
Money isnt the problem, was just planning to sell it because I cant maintain it. So if cant find a good offer, I'd hire a couple of guys to keep it active and make some through adsense.

BIN lowered to $200 without vb license.

I thought i will keep it but now after getting one more client for my offline work, i am not getting even half an hour a day to manage my forum, so ready to sell it as cheap as $200.

You say the forum is about hacking prevention, the title of the forum says "Ethical Hacking & IT Security Forum", and I found this on it.

In addition, based on the comment about the file, it is a tutorial that really does not do anything.

I'm not sure how to respond.
