Is there anyway we can make the line more pronounced, or separate the space between them a bit more?

It's quite hard to see that 1px faint line with long posts and then I start reading peoples signatures like they're part of their posts.

 

I've noticed this myself and intend to somehow fix it.


























So everyone knows what we are talking about, look at where this meets my signature.

 

It used to be a thicker line and annoyed me, so I thinned it out. I'll restore it back to the thicker version and see how you guys like it.

If we could have it display above the signature instead of below the posts it would look nice, I think.

 

I'm confused. Is the line not directly above the signature?

It's the stupid "force signature to bottom of postbit" hack that's causing this issue. I cannot figure out how the heck to fix this.
We have three options:

1. Keep it how it is currently, with the line directly below the message.
2. Stick with the thinner line and leave the signature at the bottom of the postbit.
3. Scrap the "force signature to bottom of post" hack and go back to the normal way, which will resolve all issues we're having with the line.

 

Let's try option 3 and if that doesn't look right (I have gotten quite used to this, though I did hate it at first), we'll stick with option 1.

 

I dont see a problem with it.
