Please suggest a better background image/color/pattern

I'm not happy with the green flowered background tile over at The Chic Petite but am having a hard time figuring out what to change it to. I thought about a full size background image of the sky with rays of light, but that would probably be too heavy in terms of file size. A tiled pattern is probably the way to go, but I don't want something pink or floral, and it has to go well with the swirls in the foreground. Any ideas as to color or pattern?
