One icon, color change

Hi.

I want to use a certain icon for my forum, but it isn't the color I want. Here is the icon in question:

That would serve as the icon for a redirect forum on the index page of my forum.

Now here's an icon from my forum indicating a new post has been submitted:

And here's the one indicating no new posts:

The reason I mention these two icons is that I want the first one I posted, the one to indicate redirection, to match. I do not care to indicate a new post in the redirected forum, however, so I'm only looking for the redirect icon to be white, and to have no red. Since the arrow is white, though, having the rest of the box white would be problematic, I suppose. I don't see how else to do it, though, as a blue arrow in a white box would seem weird to me, and a white arrow in a blue box would indicate a new post, which I don't want. In short, I'd like the redirect icon to be white.

If you want payment, what would you consider fair? Since I'm obviously clueless on how to manipulate icons, I haven't a clue the work that goes into it.

Note: to the administrator, I hope my topic is sufficient. I didn't use the template, but I believe I included all the necessary information.

Have you considered slightly transparent icons such as

some older browsers don't like them, but they are getting older and fewer. They allow the background of the forum to show through.

Well, I haven't really given it any thought, as I know nothing of design, even of the simplest things. I recently asked my fellow admin who knows how to design, though, and he'll give it a try when he has the time.
