NEW SUGGESTION! Hip-hip-hooray!!!!!

Hey, I come from another forum, which had a real cool section on it- The Story Section. Now, I'm not plagerizing or anything, I'm the one who suggested that section to them! The thing is, it was a BIG success there and REALLY fun! What it is is that you basically make up stories...like ghost stories, goofy stories, serious stories, romantic...just make em up! Really fun!
Any other votes on this?
(I can guarentee that !the_scarier_one! has the YAY vote on it! . )

We have an interactive story link on the side menu that you can add stuff to. Also, there's a thread in Water Cooler that I can't remember the name of at the moment, but it's one where each person adds a sentence or paragraph or two. Check 'em out .

We do have a "Pick-Your-Path-Adventure"-type story script going on right now to your left, as mth just indicated. However a forum for it is also an option we can take.

There are also other scripts out there that work differently then the one we use, so we can always use both in a story 'section'... Other scripts list the entire story out on a single page that each member can add a paragraph too, however it's not as nicely layed out and interactive as our current script. This is how the forum would work, and I'm not sure how attractive that would be since it would be much more limited than what we have now...

Having also come from the same forum as Napoli, I know this forum very well, and would definitely recommend having it.

It wasn't just the one story...
- There was all sorts of add one word, two words, etc. stories.
- There was a "Questions only story" which was great
- There was lots of general ongoing stories that people had made up.

I'd forgotten about this forum, but out of everything I'll ever suggest or second, this one would definitely top the list.

 

Okay, I'll most definatly keep this in mind after the 'new feature freeze' is no longer active and the new site is up...

I like that too...that way we have lots of different kooky soup stories to add on to...just beware newbies our soup stories do get a bit...er....strange....
