It worked for me at the time. I haven't followed the current development.

    well actually...
I tried to update the forum to 4.2 last night and after 4 hours I gave up and restored the backup I have
so now I'm cleaning everything up, deleting everything I don't need then I'll try the upgrade tomorrow or this afternoon if I have time.
I'll eventually move the content to xf, but since there is no xf to xf, I have to use vb as the middle mad atm.

Just bought a XF license. Did a small site using vBulletin 4.0.6 Patch Level 1 aversion.vbulletin.com_version.gif_6aa6349a597f1132a2f0d619a4127333.gif site with around 100k posts in less than 15 minutes. XF is looking amazing actually, i regret not looking at it sooner.

I have put a ticket in to vBulletin to ensure I can unload all 20+ licenses. XF looks to be the future for me.

as for 404ing indexed urls. Why U no rewrite??????

Yea, about 20. Most vB3 licenses which are gold I am told. lol. Not sure what they are really worth.
$10, $50. Just want to get something fair for them.

Of course, vBulletin is telling me there are 2 other licenses I cant move because they are second hand. Ironic that then I sold IB 16 sites there was no issues with that :p

I would sell my whole account if I could, trust me. There is no reason to go back to vBulletin IMO. I almost feel as I am wronging someone by making it easy to get into vBulletin by selling them a license. Heck, I have 24 vBseo licenses too that could go :)

*Gags self* I need a vBulletin 3 license! If only I had money.

I need to use it for a niche Call of Duty site that's easy to merge into CODForums in the future. I have a 2-year plan to do exactly that.
