Interested in joining us? We're looking to increase the quality (not quantity) of our moderators.

If you're interested, please write us at [email protected] on why you'd make a good moderator. Please include the following information:

User Name
First Name
Age
Date registered
Location
Experience that might help us to choose you.
Any skills you have (html or perl coding, graphics, etc.)
Forums you're interested in (name 3 please).
Other forum sites you frequent.
How many years you've been on the internet.
Your ICQ or AIM.
Your website URL, if you have one.

A virgin sacrifice betters your chances, but you never heard it from me.

What aren't we looking for?

1) Those who can't communicate in a diplomatic fashion and conduct themselves in an adult manner. We are looking for humble individuals, not powertrippers.

2) Those who are not interested in creating new quality content here on a fairly frequent basis, and just want to moderate what everyone else does.

3) Those not willing to help others get used to Alien Soup by helping to teach them and/or guide them to appropriate faq's and rules. This requires patience and understanding.

4) Those not willing to spend at least a little time here every day.

(Those in situations where their time here will be sporatic ie: here one day, gone 3 days) will not be accepted.

Current staff members will vote on who is accepted and rejected...

Current deadline is January 15th, 2001
