    Howdy, Campers.

Due to the recent press and overwelming attention to the various articles involving Microsoft Vs. MikeRoweSoft.com, we felt it important we posted a quick note on this to let you know what's going on.

MikeRoweSoft.com was the designer of an affiliate site to us that is independently owned and had recently launched. That website is Wholycow.com, a wholistic health community website that is currently hosted on our server. Wholycow.com had been designed by MikeRoweSoft and as such, is featured prominently on their website in the left panel dedicated to his portfolio sites.

Once Microsoft decided to take action upon MikeRoweSoft for alleged illegal use of trademarks, WholyCow was inundated with up to 835 simultaneous users taxing the server because it was designed by MikeRoweSoft. Apparently, people were curious to view any work they had done and began visiting WholyCow at an enormous rate (and so far continue to do so). Many also learned of the site from a couple of websites (and radio station) that actually named WholyCow.com in their various news stories.

MikeRoweSoft.com had been keeping people up to date on what had been occuring (via front page news & a forum he quickly had tossed up) up until last night, when the site completely vanished. Except for cached copies of the website available on Google.com -- the website is still completely unavailable at this writing. That site was most likely on a shared server and got crushed upon the onslaught of traffic.

We've made some server adjustments on our end that will hopefully help us cope with this phenomenon for whatever period it lasts and hopefully our site will continue to run optimally again along with WholyCow. We may or may not see increased traffic or memberships with this situation. However, we certainly wouldn't mind the increased activity!

Please note, this situation is unrelated to our temporary DDoS attack, which we hope has been resolved.

    Regards,
    -Jason
