Pat is a great guy. I have known him (online) for a long long time now. Back in my younger forum days, I ran PhpBB1 and version 2 and I talked to Pat quite often. I also own his book and think its a great book for any forum admin to have in their library.

Assuming you're talking about his monetizing forums book, it's pretty good. I've recommended it a number of times to people who were newer to forums and looking for ideas beyond the typical Adsense blocks. Maybe not any surprises to someone who's been around for a while, like yourself, but it's well laid out and comprehensive and might even help us 'old dogs' learn a few new tricks or at least look at old tricks in new ways. It's worth the time to read it, and since it's being distributed for free, courtesy of Skimlinks, there's no reason not to read it.

Oh, that one. I read it a bit. I thought there was another book out that I missed or something. I haven't fully read it yet though, so thank you for reminding me.
