Logo Design for a crime forum

Hello,

I have been looking for a long time for someone to make me a logo for my forum.

It is a crime related site, and I would think it would be an interesting challenge to make a crime logo?

Type of Graphic A logo
Colors: any or to match skin
Text Preference: I was looking for a simple image logo, but the site name could be part of it
Specific Images to be included:
Size (in pixels): I am not sure of pixels but it is to be part of the header.
Payment/Offer in return Free advertising, on main page, can be a image link, or payment
Any other details or specifications: simple and clean

The header will be changed when the logo is ready.

I like the current logo as it is it is a shame that every second button in your header doesnt change to red it would look even more like police lights

 

I'm no good with graphics but if I may make a suggestion: you should find yourself a folder icon and stamp it Solved... maybe you could also make matching status icons stamped Open and Closed...

 

I'll try to make something for you tomorrow if you still need it.

Sweeks, do you mean the header, that looks good?
as that is what I am going to change,

I am after a more simple and neat header with a small image logo, that will be something you will remember, it does not have to be crime related like a gun and handcuffs just a small graphic logo. and the site name next to that in good looking font.

I think that is great MJB,
but I am not sure about the magnifying glass, I know that it could be resized to make it smaller. as my header is smaller and I dont think it would look as good if it was smaller.

I like the font at the bottom and I want to have a graphic logo, just a small image logo with no text and it can be small.

I was also thinking about making my favicon into a logo, so it looks like a glassy button with some reflection under it. I am happy to look at other ways I can change the look of the favicon, like color and font.

I like the size and reflection of the font, and I too would like to see a few different fonts, the more custom and unique the better. but I do like it to be like the first one as it is simple and neat.
Maybe a old typewriter font will look good, like news print,

The logo is also exactly what I had in mind great size and design, it could be more clearer with sharp lines. It can even have the initials CCF in it, just visible in the back ground

The first one is my favorite, tho, imo, the reflection needs to come down and be a true reflection, not running into the top line.

I really like the logo and the layout of the whole thing,
I would like to see the font that you used in your first designs, (the one at the top)

I would like to see the logo not so bury, but It must be hard to do that and keep the reflection.

Even just make that logo with out trying to make it look glassy,

I am very happy with the logo, I too like how you made the initials especially the "F".

I am sure that I will be happy with it, after a few little options.

I have attached some glassy buttons
but I am not sure that adding the logo initials layer over a button like these would work as it would make the reflection look bad.
I am happy with yours I was just looking to see if I could find a button like these with text or an image inside it. but I could not

I liked this forums. I actually joined it....See look at the bottom it says Newest Member: Wrams.

Your forums is great. I like it very much and its very interesting. But, like Soliloquy said it needs some folder icon changes and apart from that its a great looking forums.
