    Bu yong XIE = direct translation means NO NEED THANK YOU . MAYBE SEEM a little rude IN DIRECT TRANSLATION BUT IT's casual and polite in mandarin .......

    I think the literal translation would be more like "Thanks are not required", correct?
    Much more polite sounding than the direct translation. .

    i find some of jokes really humurous in English but when u do the translation to mandarin man it is
    really dull n make no sense ....
    i guess same thing from chinese jokes to english
    (could be childish n rude )

    language is magical thing
