Still not as much as you make though :) I guess you will continue to have to pay much more than you earn until Pluto Hosting has enough clients.

I refer to my forum as a hobby--I've received a bit of money, but it's gone right back into license payments, so I'm not really making money from it. I enjoy it, though, and that's all that really matters to me. :)

I can probably gaurantee that you've made much more, due to my costs being higher than yours ;)

Anything else gained is just a bonus then right?

Exactly! :) I'd love to make money with my forum, but that's not why I'm doing it so if it comes, it comes--if not, so be it.

It's a hobby but I'm very serious about it and how things go with GamerBB.
I don't look to make any money off of it at all. Not right now at least.

Yes, some of forum owners started their forums as a hobby.

During all the time I've been trying to run forums, I never wanted to do this for any sort of profit at all. It is just something fun that I do in my spare time, really. I don't think I'll ever transform owning a forum from a hobby to a business. This is something I do just for fun and just to get away from things for a while.

So far all my online websites are hobbies. Unless I manage to make some serious dough off one of them, they will remain as hobbies. I wish that someday I will manage to create a forum that can be considered as a business, because that means it would be huge.

Same here, running AdminBB is more of a passion then hobby, but if I can earn from it then why not... of course all the money earned will be used towards AdminBB, and expanding business etc.

Only ever a hobby. Any revenue from my old forum was stritcly for charity, in line with the forum's topic.
If I can make a buck or two on my next one, why not? But I'll never call it more than a hobby.
