Instagram used for advertising

Instagram has more than 27 million users. It's been called "the next big opportunity in display advertising" as, apparently, “advertisers all around the world speak in images”.

I think I might have a bit of luck using Instagram and PinInterest for my dog site? I think that maybe if I were to share the pictures of the dogs that people uploaded then I could build some interest?

I am not sure if it would work at all but I may give it a try.

 

I've been trying this for a few weeks now and although I am gaining followers, it doesn't seem to be driving any traffic to my forums.

 

I may try this, but this requires a lot of saving photos to my iPhone... I know that photo forums do this.

 

Interesting, I'll try to see how to make this work for me. It definitely can't hurt.
