    I currently only own one.

I'm focused on going through with it.

How big is your community? What made you start as a forum owner?

I just started it, and I love providing a place that members can gather and interact with each other that has a common interest.

I only have one forum, which celebrates it's tenth month anniversary on June 22. Due to health problems and a crazy real life schedule, I don't think I can take on more than one project at this time.

Well one is more than enough, and you are doing a good job with your forum.

Well, I tried running more than one forum, and I don't understand HOW some people can actually do it to be honest. Way too time consuming and way too much work. One is definitely more than I can handle all ready!

    Two.
One of them a 'Big Board' by MyBB standards, and a smaller board.

It wont be a problem say if both forums are small, but once they start to grow it can be hard to run two forums.

Actually, for me, even when both forums were small it was hard. Someone would do something wrong on forum A that would deem a friendly warning, but then I'd go to forum B thinking the member in question was registered on there as well, thinking that that's where the incident took place, only to look through the member list on Forum B so I could send a PM reminding the member of the rule infraction, only to realize that the incident and appropriate punishment should all happen on Forum A and nothing happened on Forum B. So trust me, even with a small memberbase it can be hard to keep track of. I don't know, maybe I was just that bad at multi-tasking back then, lol.

Well I guess thats a problem that you might have, not for everyone else though. Everyone has a different experience whether running a small or big forums. I wouldnt have such a problem, and haven't either.

I guess another thing it could all boil down to is if you're used to multi tasking in real life as well, I suppose. Because I know in real life I cannot for the life of me concentrate on more than one task.

Great reason to start a forum. Have you gone through any set backs within your community or not really?

The one in my sig and one other. It's a gaming site for a group of friends, you wont be able to see anything apart from a welcome message.
