    Vote away. :)

I'd like to see what kind of experience some of our members have under their belts. :)

Oh man, I can't even remember what year it was I set up my first copy of phpBB. The domain was registered in 2001, so it was sometime after that.

There are many with much less experience (and knowledge). Hell, some "seasoned" forum administrators still don't know what they're doing!

I'm glad that till this point I've been able to learn quickly. Anything to make my community go to the next level! ;) More for me to learn though!

There's always something "new" to learn. Just when you think you've got it down, something new and unique appears out of the blue. :)

My experience as an admin has been on and off for more years than I care to remember (but I put 5-7 yrs) and on a number of different forums - my current owned forum is a little over 3 years. But I have been working as a sysop, moderator, assistant admin or admin since 1993. My first gig was a tech support sysop on Compuserve for Quarterdeck. Within a couple months I was working as a sysop for WUGNET in 2 forums, McAfee, Time-Warner's House & Garden, Playboy and Handyman Magazine. I loved those days and loved the perks (free software, hardware, magazines and gifts). :D
