I use to always run my forum with premium listing, but I have sense let it expire and I am going for the free stuff.

This is actually why I don't really like using paid services for anything forum related. Sometimes you get good results, while other times you don't, and really, I don't always trust purchasing things online to begin with as not all people are who they say they are. So really, I'm not exactly a huge fan of premium services myself, even if they come with good benefits.

If you don't restrict your forum (ratings-wise), your points will still go down anyways. You just need a forum that has posts, and yours certainly does.

Well, how's it going now that you're going for the free stuff? I also recommend trying to get 2 or 4 persons to exchange posts with every week or something - that way you have fresh content coming in. Have you ran any contests lately - and promoted among the webmaster communites?

If you post on other peoples forums you earn points. I am not going to buy any more points if I don't have to.

P.S. real posters are starting to trickle in now as well.

I agree with what the others said, you probably need to work harder on promoting your website, or simply give it time.

The OP reported a while back that his forums picked back up after some changes, thus I am going to lock this topic
