    Hello Everyone,
I live in a Southern Ontario,I'm disabled due to my health, (of course if ,you saw me on the street, you would think that, I'm not disabled) I do volunteer, in our local hospital rehab pool ,3 mornings a week, showing people who have Arthritis & Fibromyalgia ,how to do stretching movements,it helps them & me too,as I have both.
    I'm a Weight Watcher Member.
I really like flowers very much, my lilies are just starting to bloom, the first 2 are a beautiful burgandy colour.
I like things that are colourful & different.
I've been married to my dear husband for 38 years,
I'm Mother of 2 grown children, who are both married to wonderful people.
I'm Grandma to 2 very handsome, boys, they eat, sleep & breathe hockey all year around.
    I'm a Type 1.5 Diabetic (8 years),I'm insulin dependant.
I'm always looking for tasty Low-carb recipes,as I'm presently doing the Carb to Insulin ratio.
I enjoy my computer very much both for entertainment & education.
    I will close for now.
    Take care.
    Sincerely
    Snow Owl

Welcome, Snow Owl and glad you popped in to say hello.

Southern Ontario is not that far from me or Bozodog. We both live in MI.

I understand having fibro and arthritis as it seems I have both, the arthritis is in my spine. I also have PN and some other lousy beast to go with that along with being a type II diabetic on a pump. So I do understnad the *invisible disability* bit.

You might find the Health Info board of help and I have some recipes on my hard drive I have collected that I can post.

Anyway, :16: glad you're here. Just jump in and join what ever discussion :gatherin: you decide you want to put your :2cents: in. Liz

    To computerland
Glad to have you. I have a friend with a pump and another who is under control with diet. (and does she really need to lose weight) Watches her carbs very well but her fat intake is off the scale. You'll find a lot of support here from all of us.

Welcome, Snow Owl. I don't know if anyone else noticed, or if it even matters, but does your username have anything to do with your location?

You know, Snow Owl, Southern Ontario...
