Just wondering how you all got started staff wise. Did you start on your own as one Admin or have staff lined up before opening the forum? :)

All of my forums were started and maintained by one person - me. Until new members signed up and started posting, then I got some volunteer moderators.

I have found that few friends or family members will help with a forum, so its all up to you.

Pretty much all of them were just me until some real activity got going, although I did start one as a spin-off of another forum and brought in a forum member to mod.

I started my forum alone but brought on some staff members after a few weeks in order to help me with the growth, promotion and direction of the site. I added more (and still do) as time goes on and the community grows. :)

I've started all on my own. Then, I start to add staff as we grow and need it.

Before ETF, I always did this.

But this time I started with just myself but quickly hired 2 other administrators to help with things.

I am currently working on a new project by myself with no staff but that could all change in the coming days/weeks!

I started alone, but when the need for help to moderate arose I had identified people I felt were trustworthy.

But starting with a staff already in place could make things TONS easier.
