Got my Adwords voucher, any tips?

So I had a lovely email today from Google offering me a £100 Adwords voucher, which obviously I'm going to take them up on. I've never used Adwords before, does anyone have any tips for designing an advert or campaign? Ideally, I want to maximise the number of new registrations from the clicks I get.

 

FYI.. you'll need to spend $10 or $15 bucks to use those but they are well worth it.
Is this your first time using adwords, do you have any experience with it?

 

Its my first time using Adwords, I've got experience with other Google products (analytics etc.) but not Adwords specifically. As far as I can tell its simply a case of designing a catchy ad and then targeting the right keywords...hopefully! Will have to see how many clicks I get
