This past weekend my son and I made a trip to the local river to look for a camping spot.

In all, we looked at 3 spots, and passed by a 4th, but did not stop. The army corp of engineers has these primitive camping spots setup along the river. You call the army corp of engineers office, tell them what spot you want, and they can fax you a reservation for the days you want.

My son and I decided to use the first spot we looked at when we go camping. I'am going to wait until the weather warms up just a little bit more before my kids and I go.

Say... you don't happen to have room for one more?;)

We go camping every year up by the mighty Columbia river. The kids have a blast!

Great vid and a good choice on the camping spot.

No snow here in east texas, but we might get a little freezing rain thursday night.

My kids and I are not going camping "right now", we were just scouting out a camping place for march or april.
