Excuse me while I ask a Question that has probably been posed before:

I searched for the answer for about 2 minutes, then got fed up with it. So tell me those in the know, what are those little "awards" or "badges" or "what have yous" below our name? I've got a little S one, and one with 2 lines right now, and I was just wondering what they signify. I see members with bigger ones and more of them, so are they a "veteran signal" of some sort? Can I communicate with alien life forms with them? Will they order out for me, and then tip the delivery guy?

 

equally impatient, i couldn't find it either in two minutes. it has been discussed before. they're rank flags that go along with the number of posts you have, and they come from galaga, i think
