DST Correction Bug

I don't know if anyone noticed yet, but today, I noticed that the forum time was one hour off. The DST setting in the forum options was "automatic". I set it to "DST corrections on" and time was still off, then I set it to "DST corrections off", and that worked.

EDIT: Nope, still doesn't work. When DST setting is to automatic, it's one hour in the future; when DST is off, it's correct. (I live in GMT +1 hr time zone, with an additional +1 hour for DST).

 

testing testing... yeah it's still an hour off for me (set to automatic)

 

Which BB software is being used? Perhaps the DST board options were intended as a workaround for some PHP library bug that has been fixed in the meantime. Normally, the underlying OS can provide the PHP runtime library with correct time zone conversions. I guess, that's what's happening here ...

 

I'm still investigating this.

I have three sites on this server, and no others exhibit this problem.

Server settings are fine, and all 3 have the same date/dst settings... Definitely a recent and odd phenomenon...

UPDATE - This bug has been resolved...
