Disappearing "Edit" button?

    I'm fairly literate, and a good speller ( NJ 6th grade State Spelling Champ...463 years ago..), however, I am the world's worst two-finger typist, and make plenty of errors...:o

    Unfortunately, the "Edit" button seems to disappear much more quickly on this forum than the other, and when I re-read what I've posted and see the mistakes that I missed the first time, I get a mite embarrassed.

    Is there anyway to add a bit more time before it disappears?
