Chat room, perhaps?

Maybe a nice feature would be a chat room -- not necessarily a high-tech audible one. Just a nice lame, circa-1990 manual typing chat room with no frills. Just to get a sense of each other in real time? Just a suggestion for a new feature - don't know if its a possibility .

We already have this feature in the table of contents to your left.

People may speak using audio OR text, or a combination of both. Lysithea has been hosting the chats, however she is in Florida until tomorrow. Most likely the next chat will be held on either Wednesday or Sunday night. We're trying to make this a reguler occurance on those nights.

We also have a IRC EFNET channel open 24 hours a day. If you have experience with IRC, you can join us in #aliensoup

oops!. my mistake! sounds good though!

 

it'd be great if there was one that wasn't java-run...I can't use it from work...messes up the computer. Some java works and some doesn't.

Just requires a small plugin which you're prompted for upon arrival, no java is nessesary for the chatroom!

well the computer I use sometimes at work screws up and says there's a java error when I try going to that page...
