So, I just payed 20 bux for a lifetime ad in someone's signature who has 22K posts on a relevant site. Almost a dollar a K lol.. But this is a great SEO tactic for those who do not know..Anyone else buy signature space??

I've picked up a few sig links on other admin sites for Admin Talk. Before that it had been a couple years since I picked any up but when I did, I tried to make sure they were related sites.

My biggest issue with sig links is how can you assure compliance with your deal? If the member decides to delete your link after a couple of months I doubt another admin will enforce your contract.

I say its a good promotion tool - especially if that poster is very respected among the community. It doesn't matter how many posts they really have because its about the quality of the posts, and if the user is helping others. Because if the user is helping others, then those links in his/her signature would get more clicks. But, its good for SEO. I agree.
