Bumping threads as an admin

    Have you ever bumped your own thread on your own forum as an admin? If so, what made you bump this particular thread? :D

    I don't think I've ever done that. If I've needed to bump a thread, I always try to add more information. :)

    I dont mean like write BUMP or whatnot no, I mean actually added to the conversation but purposefully bumped it.

    I do sometimes bump some resourceful threads and will write things like, "Just thought I'd bring this to the top of the list for some of our newer members to see."

    I rarely do that though; maybe once or twice every 6-12 months.

    In that case, yes, I've done that. :)

    very rarely, but I have bumped a couple of threads where I was trying to sell something. Always with an update, tho.

    When the situation warrants.

    For example when asking for input in a thread. Anyone viewing the thread may have the answer, so that was more appropriate than a PM.

    I do it occassionally. If it's something really important, I'd prefer just to sticky it.

    I usually don't, unless it's an important thread and I feel it needs to be responded to.
