Yes I had someone submit an account on to there. I check that site regularly and ban any that appear.

What is the site for and what should I be looking for?

I'm eating breakfast so I'm being lazy and not reading the info on their site yet

 

It's a place where people can submit usernames/passwords so you can log into a site without registering, you can just use one of the logins from the there.

Don't see the point in submitting fake ones though.

 

If you make content available to guests, they'll put your site on a blacklist so people can't share user names and passwords.

What's funnier about this site is a site I went to before apparently had an account that was available on here... which was an ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT. I would never dream of trying to see if the login worked, but if the account is valid, they are in major trouble if one of their users gets annoyed after being banned.

 

I wonder how many times people try the ones for members.vbulletin.com.

 

Probably thousands of times a week to be honest.

 

They have instructions on how to get your site blocked from there. Or, at least they did about three years ago when I had our site blocked - http://www.bugmenot.com/report.php.

Don't flame me for this, but does anyone else think this opt out thing is a tad against the purpose of said site (them having said feature, not people using it)? I wonder whether it's there for legal reasons personally.

 

i have removed all mine from it.

i do think that this sort of thing shouldnt be allowed, some sites have private things that guests cant see for a reason.
