Banned from vBulletin!

I usually don't put a reason there, but I had to in order to allow viewing of the original message (before it was edited).

 

We do not have any volunteer moderators at vBulletin.com.

Well, it now appears she is still a moderator in certain minor forums (according to showgroups) but I think it's signifivant she lost her avatar and her name reverted to Peterska. I reckon she stepped down or something from her full role.

 

I've always wondered how that works on vB.com.

If someone is a license holder and gets banned on vB, how do they get help? Can the ticket system still be used?

 

I can confirm it can, as that's exactly how I got it sorted.

How this will pan out under the new proposals whereby you won't necessarily have access to the ticket system at all is an interesting point.

I am still not posting on vb.com. I feel terribly let down by the whole debacle at the moment, and you know what? As demonstrated by the second link in my sig, MyBB is bloody wonderful!

Who knows what happens at licence renewal now?

 

I know you can be suspended and still use the ticket system and I suspect that being banned will still allow you to use the ticket system. Banned members may not be wanted on the forums but jelsoft is still a company and want your custom and will provide you with any support via the ticket system you may need.

Wayne might be able to confirm what I said or say different.

Last night Kerry Anne had her team avatar back (but was still called Peterska2) and was answering posts.

Today she has lost the avatar again and is showing as banned!

Anyone got the foggiest notion what's going on?

Thank you. It is brand new so I just hope it can be "got going". I'm trying not to populate it by diluting membership from my other site (which is quite busy), I want to try and get a new userbase...though we do get people signing up to the main site who refuse to post, they will be directed to the new one whereno such rule exists.

As for the addon, it is the GAME SECTION mod. It's very good. It runs most ibProArcade games, but not the new "v32" ibproarcade games.
